As soon as we laid eyes on the Veto Pro Pac, we knew it was a New Tool News gem. This heavy duty tool bag has a place for everything and makes it a breeze to keep everything in its place. It is made of weatherproof pvc-impregnated 1800 denier nylon fabric with a rugged polypropylene base as thick as a joint compound bucket. The Veto Pro Pac XL will withstand more abuse than most existing tool bags and even most hard-shell cases. Its designer, Roger Brouard, is a carpenter of 25 years and, dissatisfied with the toolbags available on the market, devised this product. Its pockets line each side of a flat center panel and the hinged handle allows for maximum portability. The flat pockets keep tools organized, protected, readily accessible, and packed tight even when the bag is tossed or dropped. The pocket covers close with heavy-duty zippers and snap against the unit in thee positions for prime jobsite accessibility. Around the exterior of the unit there are 4 'D' rings great for hanging keys or cell phones.
Inside the unit are 30 main tool pockets of varying depth and width, 32 smaller pockets ideal for drill bits, pencils or punches, and 2 flat zippered pockets for various odds and ends. The pockets are arranged vertically for maximum accessibility and identification. The unit measures16.5" across, 9.5" deep and 20.5" tall.
The Veto Pro Pac XL comes with a 5-year limited warranty and retails for $119.95. It can be purchased direct by calling (877) 847-1443.
*Two additional sizes of the veto Pro Pac will be available this summer-- the model LC is slightly smaller in size and has 60 individual pockets (estimated retail $109.95). The longer model XXL-F can hold well over 80 tools including handsaws, levels, and prybars (estimated retail $149.95).
