Ryobi® introduces the AIRgrip laser level that uses patented vacuum technology to affix itself to walls without marring surfaces. Painters, drywallers, carpenters, remodelers and homeowners will find this new laser level easy to use and especially helpful. The AIRgrip laser level is perfect for hanging chair-rail, stairway railing, aligning pictures, putting up borders, installing crown molding, mounting shelving and leveling electrical outlet rough-ins.
"Our new AIRgrip Laser Level lets you hang paintings on expensive wallpaper or put up chair rail on your custom paneling," said Jeff Dils, President, Power Tool Group, TTI North America, "and you don’t have to puncture what’s priceless just to get a level."
The AIRgrip laser level uses a small battery-powered motor to create a vacuum on the bottom of a rubber base so that it can stick to painted walls, untreated drywall, most wall paper and many other non-porous surfaces. Unlike devices which use pins, nails or expensive adhesive tapes, the AIRgrip laser level will not leave a single mark on a wall, yet is powerful enough to adhere both vertically or horizontally for several hours at a time.
The laser light’s 635 nm laser diode provides a visible light for up to 30 feet. The 360-degree rotating head offers users multiple angle capabilities, while a unique rotating laser head rotates 90 degrees for vertical and horizontal applications.
A special carrying case comes with a multi-purpose base, a Velcro strap for securing the unit to cylindrical objects and 2-by-4’s, push pins for applying level to uneven surfaces, a standard tripod mounting fixture and 2 AA batteries.
The AIRgrip laser level is now available at The Home Depot for $39.97.
